Vasiliki Oikonomopoulou has studied law at the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and has received a postgraduate diploma on Civil Law specialisation from the same University. In 1998 she started her legal practice at the law office of Professor Ioannis Karakostas. She is a member of the Athens Bar Association from 2000 and an Attorney-at-Law before the Supreme Court (Areios Pagos) from 2008.
She handles predominantly cases of civil, company and banking law. She has defended important cases like company disputes, disputes from contract infringements of high economic impact, enforcement of judgments, tort liability cases, real estate disputes and succession law disputes. Vasiliki has therefore extensive experience in arguing cases before the national and international arbitration courts and she has provided expert legal support for the conclusion of contracts and compromises on the fields of her expertise.
